LIVERMORE FALLS — The Jay-Livermore Falls Seniors met at Murray Hall with Chairwoman Shirley Couture presiding on Jan. 3.There were 26 members present.

Couture offered condolences to the family of Bill Chabot, a member, and to Marilyn DeSoto’s family on the death of her sister. 

It was voted to donate to the Food Bank and to the Friends Social Club. It was also proposed and accepted that the group donate to a charity in memory of a deceased sister and brother of a member. 

A whatever Chinese auction will be held on Monday, Jan. 10. Next week’s refreshments will be donated by Alice DeMoras and Joyce Richard.

The 50/50 was won by Ellie Mitchell, and door prizes donated by Marilyn DeSoto were won by Alice DeMoras and Ellie Mitchell. 

Following the meeting, refreshments served by Shirley Couture and Georgia Hersey, and bingo and card games were played.

Members  welcome anyone over the age of 55 to join.
