LEWISTON — Norma Monreal of the Wal-Mart Logistics Center of Lewiston was recognized by Common Ties Mental Health Services at its 25th anniversary celebration recently held at the Green Ladle Restaurant.

Norma and Mike Monreal of Turner spent several weekend hours painting at the 100 Pine St. Wellness and Recovery Center. The work was done as part of an overall painting project of most of the interior of the center. Mike, Norma and Mike Jr. assisted with painting the entry areas and several program spaces.

Common Ties Mental Health provides an array of community support services to persons who have a mental health illness and the refurbished walls contribute to a welcoming environment at the center.
