LEWISTON —  A free, three-hour workshop titled Introduction To Self-Employment is offered for anyone interested in starting a business. The workshop will be held Feb. 2 from 9 a.m. to noon at USM Lewiston-Auburn College, Lewiston.

This introductory workshop will walk attendees through the pros and cons of owning a business show how to get started, point out the major elements of a business plan, introduce the many resources available in the Androscoggin County area and help interested persons decide whether self employment is the right choice.
