RUMFORD — The River Valley Growth Council, in partnership with the Women’s Business Center at Coastal Enterprises Inc., is offering a series of classes designed for those thinking of starting a business. The three-session course begins Feb. 4 and continues Feb. 11 and 18, with a snow date of Feb. 25. Classes are from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be held at 60 Lowell St., Rumford.

The classes will cover the basics of a business plan, marketing and cash planning. Preregistration is required and attendance at all sessions is highly encouraged. Call 753-6505 for information and to register.
