RUMFORD — Selectmen will continue work Thursday, Jan. 27, to develop an ordinance to regulate wind farms on town ridges.
According to the agenda for the 6 p.m. meeting, topics include shadow flicker, safety setback, decommissioning, and a request to hold a forum with Boston-based wind developer First Wind.
Representatives from the Maine Department of Environmental Protection will give presentations on the first three topics, as requested by selectmen at the Jan. 13 workshop.
The workshop will be held in the Rumford Falls Auditorium in the municipal building.
At previous meetings, only Rumford residents were allowed to speak.
