GREENE — Greene Central School, Main Street, will host a Family Literacy Night from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, the school gym. It will feature two Maine writers.

Children’s book author Lynn Plourde and children’s poet and author Paul B. Janeczko will present their books interactively on slides during an opening assembly, when students will participate.

The event will be open to the Greene community, and refreshments will be provided by Friends at Greene Central School. Janeczko and Plourde will sign books.

Every student attending the event will receive a special bookmark signed by the authors. There will be six door prizes, signed books, given out at the event. Call Greene Central School at 946-5681 for more information.
