LEWISTON — Morin’s Fine Furniture and Refinishing recently announced that it has consolidated its two Lewiston/Auburn locations into a combined showroom and workshop at 35 Beech St.

A separate showroom had been open at 245 Center St., Auburn. Catherine Raynor, president of R.J. Morin, explained that customers expressed a desire to see the restoration work and showroom together at the same facility.

In preparation for the move, the business launched a new website: www.morinsfinefurniture.com, and established a Facebook presence as R.J. Morin.

A fourth-generation, family-owned business, Morin’s Fine Furniture and Refinishing today is a diversified company that specializes in furniture and woodwork repair and refinishing, from fine antiques, family heirlooms and used furniture “finds” to large commercial building restorations. Morin’s carries a wide array of c.1900s antique oak furniture, as well as a full line of handmade Amish furniture, including custom-crafted pieces.
