Friendship squares

WILTON — Friendship Squares will host a mainstream/plus square dance from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 6, at the Cushing School. The caller will be Joe Fabian and the cuer will be Carol Stewart. All are welcome.

Autism support

FARMINGTON — Franklin Health Child and Adolescent Developmental Pediatrics has started an ongoing support group for parents and caregivers of children with autism. The meetings take place from 6:30 to 8 p.m. the second Thursday of the month in the Forster Room at Franklin Memorial Hospital.

The group is facilitated by Tami Labul, the parent of a child with autism. For more information or assistance with child care or transportation, contact Developmental Pediatrics at 779-2168.

Candlelight dinner

WILTON — The Mission Committee of the Wilton First Congregational Church is sponsoring a candlelight dinner with musical entertainment at the church at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5.

The Valentine celebration will feature salads, casseroles, baked ham and desserts.

Donations will be accepted to benefit local heating oil assistance programs and church missions. The public is invited.

Library sale

Old-time supper

JAY — The Knights of Columbus Council 320 Save the Hall Committee has planned a fundraising bean supper for Saturday, Feb. 5. It will be an old-time supper with beans, hot dogs, coleslaw and condiments. Desert will be pineapple upside down cake. The price will be $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. There will be limit of $20 for families.

The supper is one of many activities designed to bolster finances. The supper will run from 4:30 to 6 p.m. and take-out will be available.
