SOUTH PORTLAND — Christina Ricci drained a game-high 32 points and Alisa Sweet added 26 to lead Southern Maine Community College in a 72-68 victory over Central Maine Community College on Tuesday.
The Seawolves (11-14) erased a 10-point deficit with six minutes remaining and outrebounded the Mustangs 52-25 to earn the second seed in the Yankee Small College Conference playoffs.
Danielle McCusker led the top seeded Mustangs (13-11) with 26 points, Jaime Swart added 19 and Kayla Ellis scored 10.

SMCC 79, CMCC 61
SOUTH PORTLAND — Coleman Findlay scored 20 points and Josh Mackie added 12 as Southern Maine Community College beat Central Maine Community College, 79-61, in a men’s basketball game Tuesday.
Anderson Bynum added 10 points for SMCC.
For CMCC, Curtis Miller scored 14 points.
