AUBURN — Michael A. Landry Sr., 75, of Lisbon died Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Androscoggin Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Lewiston on Feb. 13, 1936, the son of Ludger and Florida Landry. He attended schools in Lewiston and later served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked at various shoe shops, mills, Maine Electronics and Bowdoin College until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, and in his younger years enjoyed fishing, bowling and rollerskating.
He is survived by his wife, Diantha (Ruby) Landry, whom he married on July 4, 1959; his son, Michael A. Landry Jr.; his daughter, Laurie Deblois and husband, Bob; his grandchildren, Bethany Rae Saindon, Taylor Guay, Cody Landry and Zack Deblois; his sister, Yvonne Irving; and by several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Deborah Lynn Landry; his brothers, Arthur, Harvey, Gerard, Rosaire and Marcel; and by his sisters, Eva and Theresa.
