AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College is offering the Small Business Institute, a seven-part series for small business owners.

It will be held from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays, April 6 through June 1. The cost is $199, including materials.

The Small Business Institute is designed to help small business owners improve performance and profitability. The SBI will provide sound advice, thought-provoking ideas and realistic approaches to growing a business. Session topics include: evaluating your business effectiveness, guerrilla marketing techniques, increasing sales, creating a profit plan, leading your business, building the right team and time management.

The SBI will be taught by Kurk Lalemand, LPBC. Lalemand, a licensed business coach with over 30 years of business experience, is president and owner of NEXT Level Business Coaching in Auburn.

The Small Business Institute is sponsored by the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce, Next Level Business Coaching and Androscoggin Bank.
