LISBON — Announcement is made of the engagement of Jaimie Assignon and Donald Marquis Jr., both of Lisbon.

The future bride is the daughter of George Tapley of Mattawamkeag and Nancy Perkins of Veazie. She is a graduate of Bangor High School and received an associate degree from Hesser College. She is employed as a medical biller.

The future bridegroom is the son of Donald and Blanche Marquis of Lisbon. He is a graduate of Oak Hill High School and is a returns representative at L.L. Bean.

The wedding will be held at 2 p.m. on June 11 in Clinton.
