AUBURN — TD Bank announces the promotion of Matthew J. Gilbert to vice president-commercial portfolio loan officer in commercial lending in Auburn.

He will continue to manage the portfolios of three commercial loan officers serving business clients throughout the region.

Gilbert has eight years of experience in banking and lending. He joined TD Bank in 2003 as a commercial credit analyst and also served as a corporate compliance specialist before moving into commercial lending in 2009 as an assistant vice president.

He received both a master’s degree in business  in 2004 and an undergraduate degree in 1995 from Husson University. He is a 1991 graduate of South Portland High School and lives in South Portland. He serves on the city of South Portland Community Development Advisory Committee and the Camp Ketcha Finance Committee, and volunteers as a Call Company firefighter for the city of South Portland.
