MEXICO — Paul R. Dumas Jr., a local attorney, has been invited to teach a Trial Lawyers College program in Leavenworth, Wash., March 24 through 27.
The program will feature three days of focus on TLC psychodrama methods in which students will work with faculty teams to apply a variety of skills which will be developed according to the needs of each student. Instead of focusing solely on specific trial matters, this program will stress developing the client’s story to be effectively revealed and presented to a judge and jury.
The Washington seminar will relay the TLC foundation of psychodramatic method and then work with the unique faculty to apply new methods to the variety of trial skills of each student. One hundred lawyer students from all over the United States will be attending the regional seminar.
Dumas has been a practicing attorney in Maine for 38 years and has been on staff with the Trial Lawyers College since 1998. Dumas attended and graduated from the Trial Lawyers College in 1995.
