WALES — Don and Nancy Lavoie of Wales and Mike and Michelle Biron of Greene are proud to announce the engagement of their children, Chantel Lavoie and Shawn Biron.

Miss Lavoie graduated from Oak Hill High School in 2004 and attained her associate degree as a medical assistant in 2009. She is currently employed by Central Maine Pediatrics and also is a food server at Gippers Sports Grill part time.

Mr. Biron graduated from Leavitt Area High School in 2002. He is employed by Johns Manville and is currently taking classes as CMCC.

The wedding will be held on Oct. 15 at All Souls Chapel in Poland Spring, with family and friends.
