FARMINGTON — Kindergarten and pre-kindergarten registration dates for the Mt. Blue School District are announced:

Wednesday, May 4, from 2 to 4 p.m., Cape Cod Hill School.

Monday, April 11, from 2 to 5 p.m., Cushing School (by appointment).

Wednesday, March 23, from noon to 5 p.m., Mallett School (by appointment).

This year the district will register students for both kindergarten and pre-kindergarten (4-year-old program).

At registration, parents will need their child’s birth certificate, up-to-date immunization records, a recent photo and filled-out paternal questionnaire and medical history forms.

If a child is age 5 on or before Oct. 15, 2011, and parents intend to register the child for kindergarten, or if a child is age 4 on or before  Oct. 15, 2011, and parents intend to register him/her for pre-kindergarten, call Patricia Flagg as soon as possible at 778-2771 for a registration packet. In the packet, parents will have the information and forms necessary to register a child on these dates.

Parents who wish to register their children at Mallett or Cushing School also need to call their respective school offices for an appointment: Mallett School, 778-3529; Cushing School, 645-2442.
