A woman was hurt in an early morning crash on Allen Hill Road in Oxford, police reported Tuesday. A Nissan SUV driven by Tina Marie Beadet, 45, of Poland, was traveling north at about 6 a.m. when when it crossed the oncoming traffic lane and slammed into a tree, Oxford police Sgt. Ricky Jack said. Beadet was bleeding from the head when emergency responders reached the scene, but her injuries were not considered life-threatening, Jack said. He cited “driver inattention” as a cause of the accident. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $6,ooo.
