The choice for a new manager of the Auburn-Lewiston Municipal Airport has come down to three candidates, airport board of directors chairman Ronald F. Barriault said Thursday.
The board convened in executive session to interview three Maine candidates Thursday afternoon and Barriault said later that one of the three, who is from the northern part of the state, is a finalist.
The board has been searching for a new manager since the end of February when Jeffrey A. Gongoll resigned after 2½ years to take a consultant’s job in Minneapolis-St. Paul.
