LEWISTON — Billy and Sarah Yasin announce the grand opening of Lewiston Variety.

The event will be June 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The business has been operating under new management since February. The store is located at the former Quality Market at 145 College St., Lewiston.

The grand opening will include hourly door prizes and other giveaways, including a grand prize. There will be product demonstrations and free samples. The afternoon ribbon cutting will be done by Gov. Paul LePage.

Lewiston Variety carries a full line on groceries, including a large selection of beers, both domestic and imported, and locally-made mead. The store also offers a wide selection of cigars and products for the tobacco aficionado.

During the grand opening, Lewiston Variety will honor John T. Buck, who has been in the grocery business since 1956.
