LEWISTON — Androscoggin Bank in Lewiston announces that Chris DeMerchant has joined the commercial lending team.

Most recently, he was a vice president and commercial lender with Camden National Bank for almost eight years. Prior to that, he spent two years with TD Bank as a commercial lender.

DeMerchant holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from Thomas College.

He is involved in many community organizations, including the University of Maine at Farmington visitor’s bureau and the board of directors for Tri-County Mental Health Services. He is also a notary public.
