LIVERMORE FALLS — Police are investigating an early Wednesday morning home invasion on Baldwin Street, where the victim reported three masked-gunman entered her home looking for her ex-boyfriend before demanding drugs, police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

When the victim told the gunmen her ex-boyfriend no longer lived there, Stewart said the gunmen left.

The woman and her 6-year-old child who was sleeping were uninjured in the incident, which was was reported to police at about 2:48 a.m., Stewart said.

Livermore Falls police Officer Vern Stevens was assisted at the scene by officers from Jay and Wilton.

It is the second home invasion reported in town since late June when a grandmother in East Livermore reported being pistol-whipped by one of two masked-men who entered her home.

That woman, who fought back, received stitches to her forehead and bruises over her body. That incident also remains under police investigation.
