HARRISON — A 43-year-old motorcyclist whose unconscious body was found on a lawn late Thursday night was flown to a Lewiston hospital where he was listed in fair condition Friday.
Cumberland County Sheriff’s Capt. Jeff Davis identified the man as Jody Scott and said he was apparently riding a motorcycle when it apparently left Maple Ridge Road on a slight curve and struck a tree. He was found on the front lawn at 866 Maple Ridge Road.
Scott was not wearing a helmet and he appeared to have sustained life-threatening injuries to his head and torso, Davis said.
He was taken by LifeFlight helicopter to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
Davis said Scott is believed to live in the Harrison area.
An accident reconstruction team is investigating the crash.
