LEWISTON — FISC Solutions, headquartered at 168 Lisbon St., announces the appointment of Jerry Blodgett as president and CEO. He is responsible for the organization’s strategic growth and business activities.

Additionally, he will leverage FISC’s resources to provide customers with the most secure, efficient back office solutions available. He will focus on growing FISC’s position as a leading provider of remittance lockbox, caging and data entry services.

Blodgett brings more than 35 years of experience in the payments and financial services industry, specifically in sales, marketing and product development. He has authored several payments-industry articles published in American Banker, Bank Technology News and Advanced Imaging Magazine.

Most recently, he was director of sales and solutions consulting for a leading financial processing services provider, where he focused on large scale payments outsourcing for item processing and remittance lockbox.

Blodgett received a bachelor of science degree in agriculture and resource economics, as well as a master of business administration degree with a major in business administration, from the University of Maine in Orono.

He is a Maine native and lives in Topsham with his wife.
