AUBURN — The New Auburn Seniors joined forces with First Auburn Senior Citizens for their annual picnic Aug. 17 at Hasty Memorial Armory.

Doughnuts and coffee were served for breakfast and the guests enjoyed hamburgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, potato salad, soda and ice cream for lunch. Card games were played in the morning and bingo in the afternoon.

New Auburn Seniors held their business meeting Aug. 3 with Virginia Levasseur presiding. August birthdays were noted and small gifts were given. Pot of gold winners were Georgette Morin, Dick Labrecque, Norm Masse, Bert Cote, Clarence Hinkley and Kate Saucier. A luncheon was served and bingo followed.

The next meeting will be held at noon Wednesday, Sept. 7, at the St. Louis Church basement.
