FARMINGTON — Susan Jacoby, CNM, DNP, a certified nurse midwife and doctor of nursing practice, has joined the staff of Franklin Health Women’s Care.

Jacoby received her doctor of nursing practice in 2010 from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in Boston. She received her master’s degree in nurse midwifery and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Oregon Health Sciences University.

Most recently, she provided midwifery care to women at Central Maine Medical Center where she attended, on average, 150 births per year, and was a member of the Residency Education Committee and Perinatal Committee. She has 15 years of clinical experience.

Jacoby lives in Industry with her husband.

Franklin Health Women’s Care offers a full range of women’s health services at its offices on the first floor of the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center, next to Franklin Memorial Hospital. Obstetrical services are also provided at Franklin Memorial Hospital Outpatient Services in Livermore Falls located in the Central Plaza at 76 Main St.
