WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. — TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, has named Michael W. Barnett, formerly of Auburn, Maine, as vice president, senior loan officer in the commercial banking group in West Palm Beach, Fla. He is responsible for building and managing a commercial loan portfolio serving clients throughout Palm Beach County.

Barnett has 28 years of experience in banking and lending. Prior to joining TD Bank, he served as a senior commercial resolution officer at First Citizens Bank & Trust Co./Sun American Bank in Boca Raton, Fla., and as a vice president in credit and portfolio management at First Growth in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. Barnett is a member of the National Association of Credit Managers.

A resident of Wellington, Fla., Barnett is a 1983 graduate of the University of Maine at Augusta. He is originally from Auburn, where he graduated in 1973 from Edward Little High School.
