Memorial services were conducted at Lewiston’s Riverside Cemetery commemorating the 148th anniversary of the Civil War Battle at Gettysburg. Pictured is the grave of Pvt. Samuel L.D. Dewelley. Dewelley was a member of the Maine 12th Infantry Volunteers Company D and was killed at Gettysburg on July 8, 1863. He was 24 years old.
