ANDOVER — Timothy and Shelly Downs of Andover are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sherry Downs, to Kyle Dupuis of Peru, son of Arthur Allen of Peru and Lynda Dupuis of Falmouth.

Miss Downs is the granddaughter of Robert and Jean Graham of Andover. She is a 2009 graduate of Eastern Maine Community College with an associate degree in culinary arts.

Mr. Dupuis is the grandson of Maurice and Clara Allen of Mexico, Jacques Dupuis of Rumford and Carolyn Dupuis of Rumford. He is a 2011 graduate of Maine Maritime Academy with a bachelor’s degree in power engineering technology.

They plan to marry Aug. 4, 2012.
