LEWISTON — Candidates for the mayor’s job will meet for a candidates forum, sponsored by the Lewiston Youth Advisory Council.

The debate is scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 6 at City Hall. It will be shown live on Great Falls TV channel 7 and streamed live over the Internet at www.greatfallstv.net.

All five candidates in the Nov. 8 election have confirmed their plans to attend. They are Mark W. Paradis, Robert E. Macdonald, Ronald W. Jean, Stanley P. Pelletier and Walter Morrissette Hill.

Chip Morrison, president of the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce, will serve as moderator. Kenzi Masselli, chairman of LYAC, will chair the event, and other members of the youth council will ask the candidates five questions. Each candidate will get the opportunity to answer one of the questions first.

Candidates will give two-minute opening and closing remarks and will have three minutes to answer each question.
