HARRISON — The Harrison Recreation Department has announced the following fall happenings.

Munchkin soccer for kindergarten girls and boys will be held from 3:15 to 4:15 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 9 through Oct. 20, at Harrison school field. Coach will be Heather Robinson.

Youth soccer for girls/boys in grades 1-6: Weekly practices at RADR and games on Saturdays. Third- and 4th-grade round robin will be on Oct. 9 and 5th- and 6th-grade playoffs will be on Oct. 15. Coaches Cathy Desouza for grades 5/6; Amanda Casey, grades 3/4; Mike and Jess DiBiase, grades 1/2; and Michaele Potvin, grades 1/2.

Coed adult pick up basketball will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Mondays at the Harrison school gym beginning Oct. 17. Sneakers required. Follows school calendar. Ages 18-plus.

Coed teen pick up basketball for students in 7th through 11th grade will run from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays at the Harrison school gym beginning Oct. 17. Follows school calendar.

Harrison Rec. Cafe will hold a fundraiser for Harrison Recreation from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day, Nov. 8, featuring soups, chowders, chili, hot dogs, breads, desserts and cafe specials.

The Halloween Festival for Harrison children ages 1-12 will take place from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 31, at the Harrison Fire Station. There will be games, prizes, arts and crafts, a costume contest, food and fun.
