TOPSHAM — The Principal Financial Group announces that Janvier K. Smith, ChFC, CLU, LUTCF, has joined its Northeast Business Center.

Smith will serve as senior financial services representative serving Midcoast, Southern, and Central Maine, from his office in Topsham.

Smith is a former career Naval officer and has more than 17 years working in the insurance and financial services industry, most recently serving as a State Farm Insurance agency owner and state manager for the Horace Mann Companies.
