BETHEL — The Bethel Area Chamber will host the Oxford County Business EXPO and the Taste of Oxford County on Oct. 29 at Telstar Regional High School on Route 26, one mile south of Bethel village.
The show is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The first 200 people who come through the doors will receive a free gift, compliments of the chamber.
The Bethel Area Chamber has organized the EXPO for four consecutive years and it has been expanded to include businesses not only in the Bethel area, but all of Oxford County. Presented by Norway Savings Bank, the show will include 50 business vendors, all inviting folks to visit their booths to learn about new products and services. Many will have raffles and giveaways.
The Taste of Bethel has also been expanded to include restaurants from all over Oxford County, and all will offer tastes from their menus between noon and 2 p.m. in the Telstar cafeteria.
Nearly three dozen companies have already registered for the event but space is available for vendors at both events. For those businesses interested in participating, contact the chamber office at 824-2282. Vendor space is available starting at $50 for businesses that are members of any of the Oxford County chambers.
Sponsors include Norway Savings Bank, Sun Media, United Insurance, Northeast Bank, Turner Publishing, W. J. Wheeler & Co., Saunders Bros/WoodGems, Western Maine Property Protection, Arsenault’s Satellite TV and Western Maine Supply.
