SOUTH PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chamber of Commerce is soliciting applications for this year’s business and community awards. The deadline for submissions is Nov. 11.
Categories are Business of the Year, Employee of the Year, Rising Star of the Year, and the Community Service Award.
Nominees for Business of the Year will be recognized in three categories: large business (more than 25 employees); small business (25 employees or less); and nonprofit organization. Criteria for the award includes excellence in one or more of the following areas: dynamic products or services, contributions to the Oxford Hills region and community, market share, noteworthy industry achievements, and dedication to the well-being of its employees and associates. Eligibility for the awards is restricted to Oxford Hills chamber members.
The Employee of the Year will be awarded to an individual who displays outstanding work ethic, a cooperative nature among fellow employees, and contributes to the success of the company. Only Oxford Hills chamber members are eligible.
Rising Star of the Year will be awarded to a business owner or employee who is “up and coming” and is positively contributing to make the Oxford Hills an exciting and dynamic place to live and work. Only Oxford Hills chamber members are eligible.
The Community Service Award will go to an individual who has provided outstanding community service to the Oxford Hills region over an extended period of time. Any resident of the Oxford Hills region is eligible.
