JAY — Daughters of Isabella Circle 677 of St. Rose of Lima met Oct. 12. The session was called to order by Regent Laurie Gagnepain at 6:45 p.m. and recitation of the Rosary was led by Chancellor Laurieanne Castonguay.

A Mass for deceased members of the Daughters of Isabella and the Knights of Columbus will be held on Friday, Nov. 4, with a supper following at the parish hall. There will be a Chinese auction at the supper to raise money for the Right to Life. Anyone wishing to make something as a prize for the auction should bring it to the hall on Nov. 4.

An anointing of the sick will be held on Sunday, Oct. 23, at St. Rose, and there will be a supper after at the parish hall. Pies are needed for the supper. The Knights of Columbus supper on Saturday, Nov. 12, was discussed. The St. Rose Christmas Fair will be held on Saturday, Nov. 19, at the parish hall.

There were no new members and no transfers. The meeting came to an end at 7:50. After the meeting the Daughters held the conferral of degrees with State Regent Jackie Dostie Smith welcoming all the officers to their new titles in the Daughters of Isabella.
