LEWISTON — The Auburn Exchange Club, in collaboration with L/A Arts, will host a Halloween window-painting contest on  Saturday, Oct. 15, with 29 Lewiston Middle School fifth-graders taking part.

Lisbon Street will host a display of jack-o-lanterns, ghouls and witches. Every contestant will receive a T-shirt, and the top three winning windows will win cash prizes. L/A Arts will judge each window and select the first-, second- and third-prize winners. Halloween paintings will remain in windows until Nov. 1.
