PORTLAND — The statewide trade association representing Maine’s pellet heating industry recently elected Dutch Dresser of Maine Energy Systems in Bethel as president for the next two years.

At its annual meeting in Augusta last month the members of the association, which is entering its fifth year, elected Matt Bell, owner-operator of the Northeast Pellets manufacturing facility in Ashland, as vice president and re-elected Jonathan Kahn of Geneva Wood Fuels in Strong as their treasurer.

Bede Wellford of Thayer Corporation in Auburn was elected to the association’s board of directors, to which Tim Heutz of Heutz Premium Pellets in Lewiston was re-elected.
