Don and Fran Van Polen capture the traditions of an old country with their film on the Netherlands, “A Taste of Old Holland,” to be shown Friday, Oct. 28, at Araxine Wilkins Sawyer Memorial. After 33 years of producing three-screen multimedias, the Van Polens, who have visited the Netherlands several times, switched to a digital format. They will take viewers along the back roads and byways of old Holland and through fields and gardens of tulips. They will also share people’s stories and visit ancient mills on Windmill Day. Free screenings will be at 2 and 7 p.m. at the memorial at 371 Sawyer Road, Greene. This is the last program of the year. For more information, call 946-5311 or visit www.sawyer-foundation.com.
