I have known Robert Macdonald for many years and cannot think of anyone more deserving of becoming Lewiston’s next mayor.

He cares for this community and is determined to make a difference; determined to try and change how the rest of the state sees Lewiston. He knows Lewiston needs to get out from the designation of “welfare city.” He knows Lewiston needs to increase the tax base. He knows Lewiston needs to keep the budget in line.

He is ready to take on those issues and more when elected.

Lewiston needs change and someone who is not politically involved, who owes no favors and will work for residents.

He is hard-working, not afraid of confrontation, and a wonderful family man with high expectations from this great city.

I support Robert Macdonald for Lewiston’s mayor on Nov. 8.
