LEWISTON — After announcing in May that it was moving to town, bringing jobs here from India, Carbonite has hit its hiring goal two months early.

Company officials announced Friday that they have hired 150 people, full-time, to work in the new tech call center at the business park on Mollison Way.

Carbonite, headquartered in Boston, specializes in online data backup.

Vice President of Services Rich Surace said customers have indiciated they’ve been happy about the move, too.
