DURHAM — Voters approved same-day registration Tuesday by a vote of 701-567.

They defeated referendum Question 2 by 699-569, and Question 3 by 782-482. Voters approved Question 4 by a narrow margin, 609-602. In the only local ballot, residents defeated a PACE ordinance, 620-618.

A total of 1,306 votes were cast, out of 3,160 registered voters.
