SABATTUS — James Wood was the victor in the two-way race for the open selectmen’s seat Tuesday. Voters cast 666 ballots for him and 577 for Scott Lansley, his opponent.

In other municipal voting:

* Guy Desjardins, with 585 votes, and Roland St. Amand, with 412 votes, were the top vote-getters for the two open seats on the Sanitary/Water District Board of Trustees.

* For the Budget Committee, Randy Gayton and Normand Estes were write-in winners, with 4 and 3 votes, respectively.

* For the RSU 4 board’s three-year term, Robert Gayton Jr. was the winner with 25 write-in votes. For the board’s one-year term, William Fessenden won with 970 votes.

* And for the Sabattus Charter Commission, voters chose Connie Castonguay with 823 votes, Loretta Hinkley with 749 votes, Michael Tardy with 689 votes, Donat Fournier Jr. with 668 votes, and write-in winners Normand Estes with 17 votes and David Marsters with 5 votes.
