Jay had a steady turnout at the polls on Tuesday, Town Clerk Ronda Palmer said. There were about 100 voters per hour. By 3:30 p.m., 779 voters had cast ballots and 142 absentee ballots had been counted, Palmer said. The town has 3,444 registered voters. In Livermore Falls, Town Clerk Sue Sapiel also said there was a steady stream of voters.
