Here we go again with government cutting the elderly’s lifelines. The less money that goes into the Social Security fund, the fewer benefits there are available to those who paid in. And, when will the government repay the “I owe yous” it has out on that fund?
We need to go back to protecting our natural resources, like backing American businesses to drill and pump our oil instead of leasing to outsiders.
NAFTA took away the taxes that were used to help pay to run our retirement system, and now we have to foot the whole thing.
If corporations want to send all the work overseas, then they should be sending retirement checks to all who lost their jobs.
It’s time for the 1 percent to make us all a retirement community. Without us they wouldn’t be where they are now.
“We the people” worked for them, and this is how we are treated.
