BANGOR — Former Auburn attorney Gretchen Jones has joined the firm of Bangor-based Eaton Peabody.

Jones was a shareholder at the law firm of Skelton, Taintor and Abbott in Auburn. She has experience providing counsel to financial institutions with an emphasis on regulatory compliance and has advocated on behalf of clients before the Maine Legislature, members of Congress, federal financial regulators and state agencies. She is a frequent speaker nationally on financial institution regulatory matters.

Jones serves as co-chair of the Red Mass Committee for the Diocese of Maine.

Eaton Peabody has offices in Augusta, Blue Hill, Brunswick and Dover-Foxcroft.
