The Auburn chief’s call which sounded at 6:45 last evening was to call the men together to do some work around the station. Hose was rolled and one wagon changed over to runners.

Auburn Patrolman Gerard Coulombe last night was named general chairman of the annual Auburn Policemen’s Ball to be held in April, and then announced the appointment of Lt. Leslie F. Stewart as chairman of the entertainment and decorations committee.
Other committeemen named were Patrolman Ernest O. Bourassa Jr. and Richard Burns to the entertainment and decorating committee with Lt. Stewart; and George Deletetsky and Patrolman Normand O. Bolduc, co-chairmen of the program committee.
