AUBURN — Mechanics Savings Bank announces that Mollie Voter has been promoted to loan underwriter.

Employed by the bank since 2008, Voter has held positions as loan officer, branch operations manager, and most recently as assistant vice president, banking center manager.

In her new role, she will be responsible for underwriting and evaluating loans originated by the bank’s lending officers in Auburn, Lewiston and Windham. She will be analyzing applicants’ financial status, credit, property and loan structure for recommended approval or denial.

Voter is a 1993 graduate of Greely High School in Cumberland.

She was the bank’s United Way campaign manager for three years. She has been a consistent volunteer with the March of Dimes for 10 years, as well as the co-chair for the Greater Portland Chefs’ Auction held in Portland.

She lives in Gray.
