Earlier this year, Chandra Sasseville, right, of Sasseville Chiropractic Wellness Center in Lewiston presented Chris Ferguson, left, board president of New Beginnings, with a check for $2,500. The donation was the result of the 2011 Kids Day America event in September at McMahon Elementary School. Lewiston Kids Day America has been organized by Sasseville and many volunteers for the past eight years as a fun day dedicated to children’s health, safety and environmental awareness. New Beginnings will use the donation to further its mission of serving runaway and homeless youths with shelter, outreach and transitional living.
