LEWISTON — Nadine Loeb B.A., LMT, announces the opening of OhJaMe, a blend of natural approaches to wellness, at 56 Farwell St. The name comes from having lived, learned and practiced in Ohio, Jamaica and Maine, allowing a blend of experiences and many holistic health trainings.

On March 24 the public is invited to an opening reception from 3-6 p.m. Information will be available about upcoming classes such as: Relax and Renew, Wednesdays at 6 p.m. from April 11 through May 23; Tuning In and Starting New on April 21; Full Moon Movement for Women on May 5.

Loeb’s formal education began in Dayton, Ohio, with achieving an associate degree in mental health technology and being a counselor in a community mental health center. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in psychology and grew interested in the psychosomatic therapies and was licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board to practice massage.

Over the years, she has received certifications in sports massage, reflexology, deep tissue and myofascial releasing, trigger point and polarity therapy, and Reiki.

She has also completed a Behavioral Specialist I training to work with those who have developmental challenges. For the past six years, she has enjoyed facilitating therapeutic drumming at Creative Trails and teaching a variety of classes for the Lewiston Adult Education Program.
