LEWISTON — Women, Work, and Community will offer a free eight-week training, “Creating Your Future in Lewiston,” from 9 a.m. to noon on Mondays and Thursdays starting March 19 and ending April 12 at the USM L/A College. There will be an orientation on Wednesday, March 14, from 9 to 11 a.m. Class dates are March 19, 22, 26, 29, April 2, 5, 9, and 12.

The class will enable students to examine work values and interests, identify transferable skills and learn techniques to manage paychecks effectively. The class will also explore local projected growth industries and identify the skills, education and/or training needed to launch a new career. Assistance with resume building and job seeking will be provided.
