RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Doris “Dodi” LaPerle was celebrated Saturday at the Parish of The Holy Savior St. Athanasius St John Church in Rumford with the Rev. Phil Tracy as celebrant. George Gionet was the altar assistant. Mark Belanger was the organist, and musical selections included “Hosea,” “Like a Child Rest in His Mother’s Arms” and “Hail Mary – Gentle Woman.”

Readings were provided by Oscar Freitas and Shelly Legere. Presenting gifts to the altar were Mike Kane and Debby LaPerle. Pallbearers were Devon Freitas,  Alyssa Freitas, Sarah LaPerle, Adam LaPerle,  Matthew Kane and Joshua Kane.

Words of remembrance were given by Betsy York. Interment in the spring will be at St John Cemetery, Rumford.  Arrangements were under the direction of Meader and Son Funeral Home, Rumford.
